Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and driven individual to become an integral part of our team as an Insurance Sales Consultant. This role is ideal for a self-motivated professional who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and contributing to business growth through meaningful interactions. This position requires in-office presence and does not offer remote work options.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate leads, arrange meetings, assess client needs, and promote suitable insurance products and services.
- Deliver timely, accurate, and friendly customer support, addressing inquiries related to insurance options, eligibility, coverage details, policy modifications, claims, and billing inquiries.
- Collaborate with the agent to set and achieve marketing objectives.

Compensation Structure:

Qualifications:
- Possession of a valid driver's license and access to a dependable vehicle
- Prior sales experience (including outside sales, inside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing) is preferred
- Proven success in achieving sales targets is an advantage
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proactive approach to problem-solving
- Commitment to delivering excellent customer service
- Enjoyment in working with people
- Self-driven and motivated
- Able to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Capability to present information to potential clients
- Genuine enthusiasm for the role of insurance and financial services in helping individuals navigate everyday risks, recover from unforeseen events, and achieve their aspirations
- Property & Casualty license is preferred, or the ability to obtain one
This position is with an independent contractor agent representing Desjardins Insurance in Canada.
