Insurance Sales Agent Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Insurance Sales Agent to join our team at Travis Cairns Desjardins Insurance. As an Insurance Sales Agent, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, selling insurance products, and building strong relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor insurance claims and respond to clients' enquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Provide information concerning group and individual insurance packages, the range of risk coverage, benefits paid, and other policy features.
  • Sell automobile, fire, health, life, property, marine, aircraft, and other types of insurance to clients.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their insurance needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and provide expert advice to clients.
Requirements:
  • Provincial or territorial licence.
  • Life Licence Qualification Program (LLQP) certification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
