About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Cashier at 2573413 AB Ltd. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring a smooth and efficient checkout experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process Transactions: Accurately process customer payments, handle cash, cheques, and credit/debit card transactions, and maintain a high level of accuracy in handling cash and credit transactions.
  • Stock and Maintain the Sales Floor: Restock shelves, maintain a clean and organized sales floor, and ensure that all products are properly displayed and facing.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Greet customers, respond to their inquiries, and provide assistance with finding products and answering questions.
  • Monitor and Maintain Store Security: Monitor all entrances and exits, request proof of payment when necessary, and verify the age of customers when selling lottery tickets, alcohol, or tobacco products.
  • Perform Administrative Tasks: Calculate daily/shift payments received and reconcile with total sales, and perform other administrative tasks as required.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Physical Demands: Combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, and attention to detail.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, flexible, team player, reliable, and able to work in a permanent position.
Working Conditions
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 30 hours per week.
