About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Ironworker to join our team at T & S REBAR LTD. as a Reinforcing Rebar Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for reinforcing concrete structures by positioning and securing steel bars or metal mesh in concrete forms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform job-site calculations to ensure accurate installation of rebar
  • Align, weld or bolt units in place to meet specifications and regulations
  • Inspect or test structures and equipment for deterioration, defects or failure to comply with specifications or regulations
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications to understand project requirements
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, handling heavy loads and standing for extended periods
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient and safe work practices
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work outdoors, at heights, and in noisy environments
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively
Work Environment

As a Reinforcing Rebar Specialist, you will work in various locations, including outdoors and at heights. You will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, handling heavy loads and standing for extended periods.

Language and Work Hours

The primary language of work is English, and the work hours are 40 hours per week.
