Job Title: Ironworker - Reinforcing Rebar

T & S REBAR LTD. is seeking a skilled Ironworker - Reinforcing Rebar to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Ironworker - Reinforcing Rebar to work on various construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for reinforcing concrete structures with steel bars or metal mesh, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform job-site calculations to determine the required amount of steel reinforcement.
  • Align, weld or bolt units in place to ensure proper fit and stability.
  • Inspect or test structures and equipment for deterioration, defects or failure to comply with specifications or regulations.
  • Position and secure steel bars or metal mesh in concrete forms to reinforce concrete structures.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications to understand project requirements.
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with varying temperatures, heights, and confined spaces. They will be required to handle heavy loads, work at heights, and stand for extended periods.

Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the field.
  • Permanent employment.
  • English as the primary language of work.
  • 40 hours per week.
