About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Ironworker to join our team at T & S REBAR LTD. as a Reinforcing Rebar Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for reinforcing concrete structures by positioning and securing steel bars or metal mesh in concrete forms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform job-site calculations to ensure accurate installation of rebar
  • Align, weld or bolt units in place to meet project specifications
  • Inspect or test structures and equipment for deterioration, defects or failure to comply with regulations
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications to understand project requirements
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, handling heavy loads and standing for extended periods
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure timely completion of projects
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work outdoors, at heights, and in noisy environments
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively
Work Environment

As an Ironworker with T & S REBAR LTD., you will work in a variety of locations, including outdoors and at heights. You will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, handling heavy loads and standing for extended periods.

Language and Work Hours

The primary language spoken in the workplace is English, and you will be required to work 40 hours per week.
