About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Motel Managing Supervisor to join our team at Skyland Motel Inn & Suites. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our motel, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and that our business runs smoothly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Manage Staff: You will be responsible for supervising and managing a team of 1 to 2 staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are meeting their job responsibilities.
  • Coordinate and Assign Work: You will be responsible for coordinating and assigning work to staff members, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Maintain Operations: You will be responsible for maintaining the operation of our motel, including the maintenance of equipment, machinery, and computer systems.
  • Requisition Materials: You will be responsible for requisitioning materials and supplies as needed.
  • Plan and Direct Administrative Services: You will be responsible for planning and directing administrative services, including signage, cleaning, maintenance, parking, safety inspections, security, and snow removal.
Requirements
  • Education: You will have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: You will have at least 1 year of experience in a supervisory or management role in the hospitality industry.
  • Skills: You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work under pressure and make sound judgments.
Working Conditions
  • Work Environment: You will be working in a fast-paced environment, with frequent interactions with guests and staff.
  • Physical Demands: You will be required to stand for extended periods and work in a variety of weather conditions.
