Cleaning and Maintenance Supervisor

We are seeking a skilled Cleaning and Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at CLEANING COPS. As a key member of our facilities operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the cleaning and maintenance of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our employees and clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the work of cleaning and maintenance staff
- Develop and implement cleaning and maintenance schedules and procedures
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety standards
- Collaborate with other departments to identify and address maintenance needs
- Provide training and support to cleaning and maintenance staff
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience in cleaning and maintenance an asset
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Supports newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition
- Offers mentorship programs that pair newcomers and/or refugees with experienced employees
- Recruits Veterans and other candidates with military experience through targeted hiring initiatives
- Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers
- Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees
- Applies hiring policies that discourage age discrimination and discrimination against members of visible minorities
We offer a permanent position with 40 hours of work per week and English as the primary work language.
