At Fraser Health Authority, we are seeking a highly skilled Medical Support Staff Scheduler to join our team. This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and have excellent organizational skills.

About the Role

The Medical Support Staff Scheduler will be responsible for scheduling staff rotations, preparing vacation charts, and maintaining timekeeping records. They will also be required to process requests for leave of absence, termination, maternity, and parental leave, as well as make arrangements for relief staffing.

This role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. If you have experience working in a similar role and possess excellent attention to detail, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities
  • Scheduling staff rotations and preparing vacation charts
  • Maintaining timekeeping records and processing requests for leave of absence, termination, maternity, and parental leave
  • Making arrangements for relief staffing and allocating staff to fill vacancies
  • Performing clerical duties, including typing technical and non-technical material and arranging meetings and appointments
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A grade 12 education and four years of recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to type at 40 wpm
  • Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position
