Job Summary

The Procurement Agent is a key team member responsible for ensuring procured services meet business requirements, facilitating technical issue resolution, and interfacing with Business Units to maximize productivity and effectiveness. As an escalation point for issues, they have subject matter expertise and input into the day-to-day management of team workloads, prioritization, productivity, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Obtain services cost-effectively to meet requirements and corporate compliance needs.
  2. Execute workload queues and action requests in a timely manner.
  3. Source, negotiate, and purchase non-category, tactical services required by the business units for annual spends up to $1M.
  4. Assess order progress against plan, identify alternatives to improve order progress, and expedite orders as necessary.
  5. Complete purchasing activities by drafting and revising Purchase Orders as per Business Unit requirements, seeking appropriate authorization, and informing suppliers.
  6. Maintain data integrity on all inputs by comparing requested items to master data, ensuring suitable items are not already available through existing commercial arrangements, and clarifying unclear items.
  7. Collaborate with Category Managers, Category Analysts, and Technology teams to support savings opportunities, efficiency gains, process improvements, and supplier performance management activities.
  8. Develop and monitor KPIs as business needs arise.
Working Conditions
  • 8-hour working days from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
  • Dress code is business casual.
Requirements
  1. Relevant work experience in customer support roles.
  2. Experience in planning, sourcing, negotiating, contracting, and supplier management.
  3. Experience in drafting and negotiating contracts.
  4. Experience in Procurement to Pay (P2P) processes.
Salary Estimate

$60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on location and qualifications.
