The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of financial management and a proven track record of driving business growth. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing financial strategies to maximize efficiency and profitability
  • Overseeing all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
  • Leading a team of skilled accounting professionals to ensure accurate and timely financial information
  • Collaborating with senior management to provide financial insights and support business decision-making
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant financial regulations and laws

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • 10 years of professional accounting or finance experience
  • Canadian Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation
  • Strong knowledge and experience with ASPE (Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises)
  • Previous experience in public accounting with international accounting experience is highly valued
  • Previous experience in the manufacturing sector would be an asset
  • Proficiency in MS Office and advanced financial management software
  • Working knowledge of federal and provincial tax regulations and compliance reporting
