About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mortgage Officer to join our team at JinXi Financial. As a Mortgage Officer, you will be responsible for approving or rejecting loan applications, assisting clients with financial objectives, and promoting the sale of credit and loan services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Approve or reject loan applications, or recommend applications for approval or rejection
  • Assist clients by proposing solutions to address financial objectives such as business expansion, debt management, investment, and other financial goals
  • Complete loan documentation and forward irreconcilable accounts for collector action
  • Interview loan applicants and open new personal and non-personal accounts
  • Prepare statements on delinquent accounts and promote the sale of credit and loan services
  • Research and evaluate loan applicants' financial status, references, credit, and ability to repay loans
  • Review and update loan files and submit credit and loan applications to management
  • Network to develop business relations, promote the sale of loan, investment, and other banking services, and attract corporate and individual customers
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
  • Work setting: Financial institution
  • Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail, fast-paced environment, large caseload, work under pressure
  • Health benefits: Dental plan

  • Hours: 35 hours per week
