Job Title: Early Childhood Educator

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Kids U Inc. as a key member of our childcare programme. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing high-quality childcare programmes that support the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Programme Development: Design and implement engaging childcare programmes that cater to the diverse needs of children, including storytelling, songs, and activities that promote creativity and physical activity.
  • Supervision and Guidance: Supervise staff, trainees, and volunteers, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet the highest standards of childcare.
  • Record Keeping: Assist in maintaining accurate records of children's progress, including observations and reports to parents or guardians.
  • Staff Support: Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive team environment, promoting open communication and a culture of excellence.
  • Health and Safety: Take responsibility for maintaining a safe and healthy environment for children, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Requirements:
  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of experience in childcare or a related field, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality programmes.
  • Certifications: Hold a valid Child Development Worker (ECE Level 2) certification.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
