We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Care Specialist to join our team at ZN EARLY LEARNING FOUNDATION. This is a permanent position working 35 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop personalized learning plans for children based on their developmental assessments, fostering their physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a clean and organized environment, including assisting with cooking duties to promote healthy habits.
  • Care for infants and toddlers by bathing, diapering, and feeding them as needed, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
  • Create and implement child-care programs that cater to the diverse needs of children, promoting creativity through various forms of art, play, music, and physical activity.
  • Maintain daycare equipment to ensure a safe and healthy environment for all children.
  • Engage children through storytelling and reading, encouraging their love for literature and imagination.
  • Analyze the overall situation of the children and communicate essential information to parents, guardians, or supervisors, building trust and confidence in our services.
  • Lead activities such as singing songs, telling stories, and visiting local points of interest, promoting cultural awareness and exploration.
  • Promote good eating, dressing, and toilet habits among children, teaching them essential life skills.
  • Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods, ensuring seamless operations.
  • Monitor children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and prepare reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors, providing valuable insights into their development.
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of other early childhood educators and assistants, fostering a collaborative work environment.
Requirements and Certifications
  • A Child Development Worker certification (ECE Level 2) is mandatory for this role.
  • The primary work language is English, with opportunities for professional growth and development.
