Early Childhood Program Coordinator

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Early Childhood Program Coordinator to join our team at Aspen Hill Montessori Inc. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for developing and implementing child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development: Develop and implement high-quality child-care programs that meet the needs of children, focusing on their physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise staff, trainees, or volunteers, providing guidance and support to ensure they deliver excellent care and services to children.
  • Record Keeping: Assist early childhood educators in keeping accurate records, including observations, reports, and other documentation as required.
  • Observation and Reporting: Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and prepare reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Child development supervisor (ECE level 3), Emergency child care first aid and CPR, Food allergy and anaphylaxis training, First Aid Certificate, Montessori Early Childhood Teacher Certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to multitask, punctuality, dependability, flexibility, judgment, reliability, teamwork, values and ethics, creativity.
