About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cook to join our team at Chez Mai II. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas
  • Organize buffets and banquets
  • Manage kitchen operations
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Safe Food Handling certificate
  • Food Safety Certificate
Preferred Qualifications
  • Cantonese cuisine experience
  • Thai cuisine experience
  • South East Asia specialization
Work Environment

This is a permanent position with 40 hours of work per week. The work language is English.
