We are seeking a Senior Manager of Business Intelligence to join our team at the TechAlliance of Southwestern Ontario, London Economic Development Corporation. As a key member of our organisation, you will lead a high-performing team of data analysts in delivering exceptional business insights to drive strategic decision-making. Your expertise in advanced analytics, statistical modelling, and data visualisation will enable you to unlock new revenue streams, optimise operations, and enhance customer experiences.

About the Role
  • Lead a team of data analysts to design, develop, and implement innovative analytics solutions using SQL, Python, PySpark, and Power BI.
  • Promote a culture of collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning within the team.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities, develop data-driven strategies, and measure ROI.
  • Mentor and coach team members to enhance their technical skills, foster growth, and achieve career goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain complex data models, dashboards, and reports to inform business decisions.
  • Leverage machine learning, predictive analytics, and data mining techniques to drive business value.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in data science and analytics.
  • Communicate complex analytical findings to non-technical stakeholders through clear, concise, and compelling narratives.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience leading data analytics teams, with a strong background in statistics, mathematics, or computer science.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, PySpark, Power BI, and data visualisation tools.
  • Proven track record of delivering business outcomes through data-driven insights and recommendations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
