We are seeking an Accommodation Manager to join our team at Colborne Street Limited Partnership.
About the Role
The Accommodation Manager plays a critical role in the daily operations of our hotel, motel, or resort, ensuring a seamless experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for daily operations to maintain high standards of service and efficiency.
- Recruit, supervise, and train staff to meet the needs of our guests.
- Conduct performance reviews to ensure team members are meeting expectations.
- Negotiate with suppliers for materials and supplies.
- Conduct training sessions to enhance staff skills and knowledge.
- Negotiate with clients for the use of facilities.
- Perform front desk duties, including preparing budgets and monitoring revenues and expenses.
- Develop and implement marketing plans to attract new guests.
- Organize and maintain inventory, including supplies and equipment.
- Enforce policies and procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
- Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Assist guests with special needs, ensuring a personalized experience.
- Establish work schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels.
- Manage events, including weddings, conferences, and other functions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Standing for extended periods and willingness to work overtime.
