Kativik Ilisarniliriniq (La commission scolaire du Nunavik) is seeking a qualified Computer Support Teacher to join our Adult Education team. As a Computer Support Teacher, you will be responsible for providing technical support and training to adult learners in the English sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver training programs to adult learners in computer skills, including problem-solving, research, and time management.
  • Provide technical support and assistance to learners in the use of software, operating systems, and databases.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve communication and customer support skills in the workplace.
  • Assess and develop programs to improve network management and computer optimization.

Requirements:

  • Fluency in two (2) of the three (3) official languages of KI (Inuktitut, English, and French).
  • Experience in adult education and multi-level classes.
  • Knowledge and teaching of the MEES programs.

Assets:

  • Experience in teaching English and French as a second language.
  • Knowledge of the Moodle platform.

Classification / Salary / Benefits:

Salary and benefits as per the Teachers Collective Agreement of the Board: from $46,527 to $92,027 annually depending on experience and qualifications. All benefits are prorated based on the percentage of the task.
