Bookkeeping Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team at GG Athletics Ltd. as a key member of our finance department.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers and financial statements, using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
- Accounting and Reporting: Prepare and post journal entries, reconcile accounts, and generate financial reports to ensure the company's financial health.
- Payroll and Benefits: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Computer and Technology: Utilize MS Access, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Windows, and MS Word to manage financial data and reports.
- Personal Suitability: Demonstrate accuracy, dependability, excellent oral and written communication skills, organization, reliability, and teamwork.
- Experience: While experience is an asset, we are open to training the right candidate. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and practices.
- Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
- Language: English is the primary language of communication.
- Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
