Job Summary

The Technical Proposal Writer position at Rimkus Consulting Group, Inc. is responsible for creating high-quality proposals related to building and property condition assessments, energy audits, and engineering design activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research and gather information to develop comprehensive proposals.
  • Format and organize proposal content according to company policies and guidelines.
  • Edit and customize proposal content as required.
  • Collect and analyze data for proposal development.
  • Prepare and maintain proposal templates under the guidance of the business development and operations team.
  • Attend meetings and identify opportunities for proposal writing.
  • Prioritize responsibilities to meet deadlines.
  • Edit and revise proposals based on feedback.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in an applicable or related field is preferred.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in a related role.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
  • Experience in marketing/communication and strong organizational skills.
  • Past experience in SharePoint software.
Skills and Abilities
  • Strong working knowledge of word processing software.
  • Excellent computer and organizational skills, as well as attention to detail.
  • Excellent written, verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Good strategic planning abilities.
Physical Demands and Work Environment

The work is performed primarily in an office setting. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, bend, crouch, hear, and talk. Employee may lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Clear vision and depth perception are also necessary.

Some overtime may be required to meet the demands of the position.

Travel is not expected for this position.
