We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Geology Student to join our team at Canadian Natural Resources Limited. As a Geology Student, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals in the field of exploration geology.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the analysis of geological data and interpretation of subsurface formations.
  • Contribute to challenging exploration projects and gain valuable experience in the geology field.
  • Work closely with experienced Area Geologists or Hydrogeologists to gain skills and knowledge in geology.
  • Prepare key mapping, cross-sections, and interpretations related to current and future development programs.
  • Review and describe core from formations of interest to aid in understanding depositional environments and details of individual rock units.
  • Communicate findings to the asset team and management in mid-term and final project presentations.
Requirements:
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Geology.
  • Required to be physically and mentally fit for work.
  • Motivated self-starter who can thrive as an independent worker and in team settings.
  • A sense of ownership and responsibility for project outcomes, and the ability to work effectively in collaborative, interdisciplinary teams.
  • Passionate about rocks and enjoy the outdoors.
