About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Sales Specialist to join our team at Integrated Power Services (IPS). As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our industrial clients across North America.

Key Responsibilities

  • Communicate with customers to understand their electrical product and service requirements.
  • Research and communicate with IPS vendors to source electrical products and services.
  • Prepare designs, quotes, and support for customers.
  • Work with outside technical sales reps to address customer needs.
  • Ensure compliance with CSA, ISO, EASA, and IPS Standard of Work (SOW) requirements.
  • Assist in achieving financial targets set out by the Annual Operating Plan (AOP).
  • Responsible for preparation of quotes, purchasing product, invoicing, and providing an unmatched customer experience (UCE).

Qualifications and Competencies

  • Technical background with electrical and/or mechanical products required.
  • 2 or more years of sales experience in an industrial environment or equivalent education preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to build rapport with current and potential customers.
  • Critical attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to understand, perform, and retain various job-related training.
  • Flexible with hours, overtime, and some weekend work.
