Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sustainability Manager to join our team at Brecks Group. As the Sustainability Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sustainability strategies and initiatives across all areas of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Sustainability Policy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive sustainability policies and strategies that align with our company's mission and values.
  2. Carbon Footprint Management: Monitor and track our company's carbon footprint, identifying areas for improvement and implementing measures to reduce our environmental impact.
  3. Staying Up-to-Date on Sustainability Trends: Conduct research and stay informed about the latest sustainability trends, practices, and regulations to ensure our company remains at the forefront of environmental responsibility.
  4. Collaboration with Departments: Work closely with various departments to ensure sustainability is integrated into all business operations, from supply chain management to marketing and communications.
  5. Sustainability Partnerships: Collaborate with suppliers and partners to promote sustainability practices and encourage sustainable sourcing.
  6. Sustainability Reporting: Communicate and report on the progress of sustainability goals and initiatives to stakeholders within the company and externally.
  7. Employee Training and Development: Develop and oversee employee training programs to promote a culture of sustainability within the company.
  8. Sustainability Marketing and Communications: Work with marketing and communications teams to promote and raise awareness of the company's sustainability efforts to customers and the community.
Qualifications and Skills
  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or related field.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a sustainability role.
  3. Strong understanding of sustainability practices, policies, and regulations.
  4. Proven track record of successfully implementing sustainability programs and initiatives.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  7. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  8. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis software.
  9. Passionate about promoting sustainability and making a positive impact on the environment.
