About the Position

The Event Production Specialist will be responsible for producing a live music and performing arts concert series in Queen's Park. This position involves coordinating performers for various events, including busking events at New West Craft markets and gallery events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate and coordinate the ANW Summer Concert Series, a free summer arts and culture series held in Queen's Park, New Westminster.
  • Coordinate performers for various busking events at New West Craft and some gallery events.
  • Represent the ANW as the series emcee.
  • BUILD STRONG CONNECTIONS WITH THE ARTS COMMUNITY, LOCAL BUSINESSES, AND SERVICE ORGANIZATIONS.
  • RESEARCH AND DEVELOP BEST PRACTICES FOR PROVIDING EFFECTIVE OUTREACH TO COMMUNITY PARTNERS.
  • MONITOR AND REVISIE THE SERIES STRUCTURE MODEL, POSITIONS, AND TASKS.
  • FACILITATE VOLUNTEER INVOLVEMENT IN EVENT PRODUCTION AND PROMOTION.
  • ASSIST IN PLANNING AND FACILITATING MEETINGS, TAKE MINUTES, SEND EMAIL NOTIFICATIONS, AND FOLLOW UP.
  • COORDINATE VOLUNTEERS WEEKLY AND ASSIGN REGULAR DUTIES.
  • SUPPORT LOGISTICS AND ADMINISTRATION EFFICIENCIES.
  • COLLECT DATA ON ATTENDANCE RECORDS, DONATIONS, AND OTHER KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS.
  • TRACK GOALS, PROGRESS, AND DEADLINES.
  • PROVIDE ONSITE SUPPORT ON EVENT DAYS.
  • WORK CLOSELY WITH THE ANW EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR AS REQUIRED.
