At ONTARIO INC., we are seeking a skilled Retail Sales Associate to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a cash register and process transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and respond to customer inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the cash wrap and surrounding areas.
  • Restock shelves and maintain inventory levels to ensure a positive shopping experience for customers.
  • Participate in promotional activities and maintain a high level of product knowledge to effectively communicate with customers.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.

Working Conditions:

  • Fast-paced retail environment.
  • Standing for extended periods.
  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking.

Personal Suitability:

  • Accurate and detail-oriented.
  • Excellent oral communication skills.
  • Team player with a positive attitude.

Experience:

  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a retail environment.
  • Permanent position with 30 to 40 hours per week.
  • Language of work: English.
