Job Title: Retail Sales Associate

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at MacEwen. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a cash register and process transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Restock shelves and maintain a clean and organized store environment
  • Participate in promotional activities and suggestive selling
  • Verify the age of customers when selling lottery tickets, alcohol, or tobacco products

Requirements:

  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a retail environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods

Working Conditions:

  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment with frequent standing and walking
