We are a leading provider of recruitment services, with a team of experienced professionals dedicated to finding the best talent for our clients. We are currently seeking an experienced ICI Superintendent to join our client's team in Southwestern Ontario or the GTA.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the full-cycle construction of wastewater and/or water treatment facilities, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Manage day-to-day operations on-site, including scheduling, supervision, and coordination of subcontractors and trades.
  • E nsure all work is performed in compliance with contract specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate project mobilization, layout, and setup of temporary facilities, ensuring all necessary permits are in place.
  • Inspect and monitor construction progress, identifying potential issues and implementing timely solutions.
  • Communicate regularly with the project team, including the Project Manager, stakeholders, and subcontractors, to provide updates and ensure smooth project execution.
  • Enforce compliance with Occupational Health and Safety legislation and company safety policies on-site.
  • Foster positive relationships with subcontractors and vendors to ensure efficient project delivery.

What You'll Need:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in wastewater or water treatment facility construction.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills, with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
  • Thorough knowledge of ICI construction processes, materials, and methods, with specific experience in water-related projects.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Strong understanding of provincial construction safety standards and regulations.
  • Willingness to travel to different project sites Monday to Friday (lodging and per diem provided).
  • Excellent communication and team management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software.
