Job Summary

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to join our team as a Visiting Nurse in the Parry Sound area. As a Visiting Nurse, you will provide exceptional nursing services to patients in their homes, working independently or in cooperation with the Home and Community Care Support Services (HCCSS).

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain effective Care Plans with respect to Community Health Services
  • Provide nursing services to patients in their homes, including one-on-one care and virtual consultations
  • Communicate and liaise with patients, family members, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team
  • Perform other clinical duties as required
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) degree or diploma
  • Current College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) registration in good standing
  • Strong desire and commitment to making a difference in the lives of our patients
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Valid driver's license and vehicle
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
  • CPR Certification
  • Current immunization record, including 2-step TB test
  • Vulnerable sector check and clear background check
