Job Title: Visiting Nurse

Job Summary:

Closing the Gap Healthcare Group is seeking a skilled Visiting Nurse to join our team. As a Visiting Nurse, you will provide high-quality care to clients in their homes, focusing on wound care management and other community-based services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive wound care management to clients in their homes
  • Administer IV antibiotics, cannulation, and other medical treatments as required
  • Coordinate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Travel between clients to provide care and support
  • Document client progress and report to healthcare teams
  • Order supplies and equipment as needed
  • Build strong relationships with clients and their families
  • Work independently with minimal supervision

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) certification
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in community or clinical/hospital setting
  • Current Standard First Aid & CPR/AED certification
  • Mask Fit test certification
  • Ability to work weekends and on-call
