Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at 2799470 ONTARIO INC. as a Logistics Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, adhering to all relevant regulations and safety protocols.
  • Logistics: Load and unload goods, oversee condition of vehicle, and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
  • Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Maintenance: Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, as well as perform preventive maintenance and emergency roadside repairs.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail, handling heavy loads, sitting.
  • Personal Suitability: Judgement, organized, reliability, team player.
  • Experience: Will train.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position with a 40-hour workweek. The language of work is English.
