Job Title: Truck Driver

Canada Ltd is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
  • Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
  • Perform preventive maintenance
  • Load and unload goods
  • Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy
  • Drive lighter, special purpose trucks
  • Arrange travel, related itineraries and make reservations
  • Pay and receive payments for goods
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
  • Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo
  • Transport and handle dangerous goods
Requirements:
  • AZ class license
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Driving record check (abstract)
Work Environment:

This is a permanent position with 30 to 48 hours of work per week. The work environment is fast-paced and requires strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.
