Job Description

We are seeking an Italian Cuisine Chef to join our team at Ontario Inc.

About the Job

This is a full-time position that requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail. As an Italian Cuisine Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods. You will also need to prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, and inspect kitchens and food service areas.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a restaurant setting and possess excellent culinary skills. You should be able to work well under pressure and maintain a clean and organized kitchen.

We offer a competitive salary of $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for advancement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas
Requirements
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience as an Italian Cuisine Chef
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail
  • Excellent culinary skills and ability to work well under pressure
