We are seeking a highly skilled Surety Account Manager to join our team at HUB Intl Canada West ULC (Prairies). As a key member of our Account Management & Service department, you will be responsible for maintaining successful client and underwriting relationships, thoroughly understanding suretyship, and counseling clients on its application.
Key Responsibilities- Issue bid bonds, performance bonds, payment bonds, license bonds, and other bonds, including review and processing of bond riders.
- Work closely with clients to understand their surety needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and underwriters to ensure successful outcomes.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in suretyship.
- 2+ years of contract surety experience preferred, or an equivalent combination of business administration education and administrative experience.
- Pro-active, self-motivated, with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Innovative mindset, with the ability to develop creative solutions and adapt to changing priorities.
- Motivated to support a diverse team and contribute within a team environment.
- Eagerness to learn and grow within an Account Manager capacity.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral.
- Experience with Epic broker management system is considered an asset.
- Proficient with Windows-based computer systems.
