We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Content Director to lead our digital content strategy and team at Sun Life Financial. Key Responsibilities
  • Content Strategy: Develop and maintain a content strategy that aligns with our business objectives and industry best practices.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of content and social media professionals to produce high-quality content that meets our brand standards.
  • Content Creation: Oversee the creation of diverse types of content, including articles, videos, social media posts, and thought leadership pieces.
  • Channel Planning: Develop and execute a channel plan to distribute our content across paid, earned, and owned channels.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Brand, Product, and Performance Marketing, to ensure alignment and consistency in our content efforts.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Monitor and report on content performance, using data to inform our content strategy and optimize our results.
Requirements
  • Experience: 10+ years of relevant digital content experience in B2C and B2B marketing, product marketing, content marketing, and social media.
  • Leadership: 5+ years of experience leading and managing high-performing teams.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing, journalism, communications, or a related field.
  • Skills: Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills; strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data; experience with content management systems and social media management platforms.
