Bridges of Canada Inc. is currently seeking a highly skilled Spiritual Leader to join our team at one of our correctional facilities. This full-time position offers the successful candidate a stable work environment with opportunities for growth and development.
Job OverviewThe primary role of this position will be to provide spiritual guidance and support to inmates, staff, and other stakeholders within the facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of religious practices and traditions, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
About the RoleThis position requires a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 3-5 years of experience working in a similar capacity. The successful candidate will also undergo a thorough background check and be required to maintain confidentiality at all times.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct regular worship services and provide individual counseling sessions to inmates and staff
- Develop and implement programs to promote spirituality and wellness within the facility
- Maintain accurate records of inmate behavior and provide recommendations for their rehabilitation
We are offering a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, commensurate with experience. In addition, the successful candidate will receive a comprehensive benefits package, including medical and dental coverage, as well as a generous retirement plan.
