We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Payroll & Benefits Coordinator to join our team at School District #5 (Southeast Kootenay). As a key member of our human resources department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll and benefits for our employees.
Key Responsibilities- Process payroll and benefits for all employees, including calculations, deductions, and disbursements
- Manage employee benefits, including health, dental, and vision plans
- Coordinate with external vendors and service providers to ensure seamless delivery of benefits and services
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of employee data, benefits, and payroll information
- Provide exceptional customer service to employees and management, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset
- Minimum 2 years of experience in payroll and benefits administration
