Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Carlyn Enterprises Ltd. as a Team Lead. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that all food and service meet the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Estimate Ingredients and Supplies

The successful candidate will be responsible for estimating the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet the demands of our customers.

Quality Control

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring that all food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining the highest level of quality and consistency in all aspects of our food service operations.

Record Keeping

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights into our operations and helping us to make informed decisions.

Reporting

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for preparing and submitting reports on a regular basis, providing management with the information they need to make informed decisions.

Food Order Summaries

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing food order summaries for the chef, ensuring that all orders are accurate and complete.

Culinary Knowledge

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for having knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres, ensuring that we are able to provide our customers with a unique and authentic dining experience.

Tray Assembly and Delivery

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and checking the assembly of trays and the delivery of food trolleys, ensuring that all food is delivered to the correct location in a timely and efficient manner.

Work Schedules

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for establishing work schedules for staff, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet the demands of our customers.

Requirements
  • Education

The successful candidate will have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Experience

The Food Service Supervisor will have 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.

Language

The successful candidate will be fluent in English.

Work Hours

The Food Service Supervisor will work 30 to 40 hours per week.
