Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Hotel Front Desk Clerk to join our team at Ramada by Wyndham Quesnel. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, managing room reservations, and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Services: Register arriving guests, assign rooms, and provide information on hotel facilities and services.
  • Reservation Management: Take, cancel, and change room reservations in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Clerical Duties: Perform various administrative tasks, including faxing, filing, and photocopying.
  • Communication: Answer telephone calls, relay messages, and assist clients/guests with special needs.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to guests, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees.
  • Support for Youths: Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports youth employment.
  • Support for Veterans: Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports Veterans.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
