Job Title: Mixologist - Pickering/Ajax

We are seeking a skilled Mixologist to join our team at the Pickering Casino Resort/Casino Ajax. As a key member of our hospitality staff, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional beverage service and creating memorable experiences for our guests.

Job Description:

This role involves providing excellent customer service, managing cash handling procedures, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and ensuring compliance with health and safety protocols. You will work closely with our Food & Beverage Supervisor to achieve outstanding results and contribute to the overall success of our establishment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding promptly to their needs and resolving any issues efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records of cash transactions, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure a clean and organized workspace, including the bar area, glass washer, and surrounding environment.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels, reporting any discrepancies or concerns to the supervisor.
  • Conduct regular cleaning and sanitation tasks to maintain a high level of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Foster positive relationships with colleagues and management, contributing to a collaborative and supportive work environment.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A secondary school diploma or equivalent working experience and education.
  • Minimum 2 years of bartending experience in a high-volume establishment.
  • A valid Smart Serve Certificate.
  • Previous cash handling and system experience.
  • Strong wine and beverage knowledge.
  • Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, customer service, and communication skills.
  • Able to multi-task and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Salary:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $45,000-$60,000, depending on experience and qualifications. This figure includes benefits and other perks.
