Join Our Team as a Part-time Housekeeper

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our housekeeping team as a part-time Housekeeper at the Pickering Casino Resort and Casino Ajax. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of assigned areas, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform housekeeping duties, including cleaning, sanitizing, and restocking of assigned areas.
  • Operate equipment, such as vacuums, floor polishers, and buffers, to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Identify and report any safety hazards or concerns to management.
  • Assist in maintaining good public relations with guests by providing excellent customer service.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve departmental goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ year of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to obtain registration as a Category 2 Gaming Assistant with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario.
