Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Renovation Carpenter to join our team at MV Castillo Painting Corporation. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for renovating and maintaining residential and commercial properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare layouts and designs for renovation projects, ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations.
  • Measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials for construction and renovation projects.
  • Build and install foundations, floor beams, subflooring, walls, and roof systems.
  • Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
  • Schedule and coordinate work on construction sites, ensuring timely completion of projects.
  • Instruct and supervise apprentices and other workers on site.
  • Maintain and repair residential and commercial properties, including wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, and industrial plants.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1-2 years of experience in construction or renovation.
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in noisy and dusty environments.
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work long hours.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
