We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at AD HOSPITALITY GROUP INC. as a key member of our culinary team.
About the Role:The Sous Chef will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in the planning, preparation, and presentation of meals in our kitchen. This includes menu planning, food preparation, and ensuring that all food meets our high standards of quality and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning and preparation
- Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for events and regular service
- Plan and execute food preparation and presentation for special events and functions
- Ensure that all food meets quality standards and presentation guidelines
- Lead and instruct kitchen staff in food preparation and presentation techniques
- Manage inventory and ordering of ingredients and supplies
- Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
- 3 years of experience as a Sous Chef or equivalent position
- Strong culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation and presentation
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy loads
