About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Purchasing Analyst to join our team at Wahl Canada. As a key member of our procurement team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our supply chain.

Key Responsibilities
  • Initiate Purchase Orders on a regular basis, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of materials.
  • Plan and purchase materials for production, taking into account demand forecasts and inventory levels.
  • Coordinate with Partners to manage shipments and custom clearance, ensuring all documentation and record entries are accurately maintained.
  • Generate standardized reports to assist the sales team in identifying opportunities to improve inventory turns, while also creating additional reports to support the Purchasing team.
  • Meet with sales and marketing teams to share insights and maintain communication with vendors.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a field such as business, supply chain, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Sage or D365 experience considered an asset but not a requirement.
  • Experience with data analysis and purchasing.
Preferred Skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Well-organized and detail-oriented, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrates curiosity about how processes work and suggests improvements.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with teams, strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent time management skills, demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize.
  • Strong and consistent attention to detail.
