The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with customs regulations and facilitating smooth international trade operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact for all customs-related matters, including import/export regulations, tariffs, and trade compliance.
- Liaise with government agencies, customs officials, and other regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Classify goods according to customs regulations and determine applicable duties and taxes.
- Provide guidance and support to internal teams on customs-related matters, including shipping, logistics, and supply chain management.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of international trade agreements and preferential trade programs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in International Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Certified Customs Broker license.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Customs Broker or in a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of customs regulations, import/export procedures, and trade compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools, such as customs brokerage software and MS Office Suite.
- Proficiency in Cantonese or Mandarin is considered an asset.
