We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Advisor to join our Strategy, Data, and Performance team at National Bank. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in advising on the strategic directions of financial market operations, driving the execution of strategic components, and supporting the transformation of Financial Market Operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise on strategic directions and facilitate strategic thinking to drive business process evolution through data analysis.
  • Drive the execution of strategic components, including defining business vision and determining end-to-end financial market targets.
  • Support and coach transformation actors, staying abreast of best practices to optimize cross-functional processes.
  • Energize transformation governance by continuously enriching the transformation plan and documenting priority initiatives.
  • Collaborate with partners (IT, Financial Markets) to influence the evolution of transformation initiatives and share the vision of operations.
  • Create a climate conducive to change, engaging cross-functional teams and involving necessary expertise according to transformation needs.

About the Team

You will be part of a dynamic team of three colleagues, reporting to the Senior Manager of Strategy, Data, and Performance for the Financial Markets Operations sector. Our team is known for its agility, knowledge of financial market activities, and sub-processes that support these activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and ten years of relevant experience OR Master's degree in a related field and eight years of relevant experience OR University certificate and eight years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated influential leadership with senior management.
  • Knowledge of financial markets and wealth management.
  • At least 5 years of experience in end-to-end analysis and delivery of transformation initiatives.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to quickly grasp and solve complex issues and make relevant recommendations.
  • Proven ability to learn a business domain and highlight key elements.
  • Demonstrated change management skills.
