Job Title: Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician

Job Type: Permanent – Full Time

Location: Red Deer, AB

Reports to: Service Sales Manager

Rocky Mountain Equipment (RME) is a leading dealer of Case IH and Case Construction equipment in Canada. We're committed to providing a consistent, reliable, and safe experience to our customers and building long-lasting relationships with the community.

As a Heavy Equipment Technician, you'll have opportunities for growth and advancement with various training options, tuition reimbursement, and tool allowances. You'll be an integral part of our Service team, ensuring parts and machinery are properly functioning to keep our business running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and inspect equipment for faults and malfunctions
  • Repair and adjust equipment and replace defective parts
  • Perform updates, pre-season delivery inspections, and pre-season inspections
  • Complete work orders and enter technician notes into computer
  • Adhere to all occupational health and safety standards

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Ability to work under minimal supervision
  • Fluency in English language
  • Experience working on CASE IH and NEW HOLLAND agriculture equipment an asset
  • Problem-solving skills
  • No specific education requirement
  • Two to three years' work experience in a similar role an asset
