We are seeking a highly experienced Technical Scrum Master to join our team at S.i. Systèmes in Ottawa, Canada.

Job Overview

This is a permanent opportunity that requires a minimum of 1-2 days per week onsite. The successful candidate will be responsible for coaching and teaching teams to work within the Scrum framework in a technical environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coach and teach your team to work within the Scrum framework, aid the team to identify and remove impediments, and support the Product Owner in backlog management.
  • Work collaboratively with other teams to deliver value to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Facilitate the team's achievement of best practices in cloud infrastructure, emphasizing Site Reliability, Observability, and Scalability.
  • Support the team with reporting metrics such as burn-down charts and dashboards.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Scrum Master working within a complex technical environment.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies, Digital Scrum/Kanban boards and backlogs, preferably Azure DevOps.
  • Experience coaching and facilitation (individuals and groups).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Scrum Master certification (preferably from Scrum.org).
  • Experience with Business and Digital Transformation.
  • Familiarity with ITIL incident management, problem resolution, and change management, reflecting a strategic understanding of IT service delivery and continuous improvement.
  • Familiarity with design, deployment, and maintenance of hybrid, cloud, and on-premises infrastructure (Azure, M365, and other relevant platforms).
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is $90,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health and dental insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
