About the Role

Wind River Systems, a global leader in delivering software for mission-critical intelligent systems, seeks a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Documentation Specialist. As part of our team, you will play a critical role in designing and developing information assets that enable our cloud technology to thrive in the enterprise space.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Wind River engineers and product managers to design and develop documentation for our cloud platform.
  • Utilize reStructuredText (RST) to create new content, adapt open-source content, and update existing documentation to support customers' installation, configuration, and maintenance needs.
  • Develop user-centric, task-oriented documentation for development, deployment, and management of cloud-based systems.
  • Interview subject-matter experts, participate in review meetings, and collaborate with technical writers and engineers to create and update content.

Requirements

  • Proven experience writing cloud orchestration documentation for the enterprise market.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills in English, with good technical and communication skills.
  • Hands-on experience analyzing UX and translating it into documentation and product requirements.
  • Experience creating technical documentation with markup languages.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience using reStructuredText (RST) markup.
  • Experience or education in software programming.
  • Familiarity with open-source development.
  • Experience working in an agile programming environment.
