At Canadian Tire Gas Bar, we are seeking a highly skilled Retail Store Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our retail operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our sales floor, ensuring a positive customer experience, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assign sales workers to duties to maximize productivity and customer satisfaction.
- Hire and train or arrange for training of staff to ensure they have the necessary skills to excel in their roles.
- Authorize the return of merchandise to maintain high customer satisfaction levels.
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
- Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages, in a timely and professional manner.
- Organize and maintain inventory to ensure accurate stock levels and minimize waste.
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers to ensure seamless operations and high productivity.
Requirements:
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail or supervisory role.
- Permanent employment with a minimum of 35 hours per week.
- Fluency in English.
